What is ATM Usage charges

 ATM Usage charges are the bank charges which will automatically deduct from your bank account every year if you use its ATM card and ATM Machines. If you have the ATM card, you have lots benefits which save your time when you withdraw money or deposit money. So, these charges are valuable. Its also name is debit card charges. Different banks issues different types of debit cards. So, charges may differ as per what type of ATM card you have. 

Following are main ATM Usage Charges 

1. Annual fees 

Private bank charges is normal Rs. 590 and public bank deducts only Rs. 150

You can see My HDFC Bank statement where HDFC has deducted his ATM Annual fees Rs. 590 in end of year dec. 2021

If you want to save this fees, you have to close your all the atm cards which are not using from one year and invest same money in your business. 

2. ATM Card replacement charges

ATM card replacement charges will be deducted by private bank Rs. 200

3. ATM Pin generation charges 

Private bank will deduct Rs. 50 for ATM pin generation. 

4. Decline ATM due to Shortage of Fund

If you did not have fund and you use ATM, then private bank will deduct Rs. 25 as service fees from your bank account. 

If you want to save this charges, always keep sufficient fund in your bank account before withdrawing money from bank atm. 

 5. Foreign Transaction through Your ATM Card

If you use your ATM card for foreign transaction, you have to pay its 3.5% + tax

6. Use Your Bank ATM in Other Bank's ATM Machine

If use your bank atm in other atm, you have to pay Rs. 25 as atm usage charges. 

7. ATM Balance Enquiry Charges

If you want to know your bank balance and use ATM machine, you have to pay Rs. 10. It will deduct auto from your bank account. Private bank deduct only it from specific ATM Card not all. 

Use mobile app for checking balance instead using ATM Machine. If you want to save this charges. 

8. Withdraw Moeny more than 5 Times charges

If you use own bank atm for withdrawing more than 5 times, bank will deduct Rs. 20 per transaction + tax after 5 transcations through ATM
