How to Measure the Distance

 To measure the distance is very necessary for achieving different goals of different professionals.

 

1. Cloth merchant needs to cut the accurate distance of clothes to customer after getting it's price.

2. Tailor needs to measure special distance for making different parts of any person suit.

3. Carpenter also needs to measure special distance for making chair, table and cupboard.

4. Taxi will charge the rent of taxi on the basis he covered the distance with his customer

5. An online seller  will deduct the delivery charges on the basis of distance of location of his product store. So, he wants to know the distance of customer location from his office.

In simple word, today everyone wants to measure distance.

In past, we didn't have unique ways to measure distance.

1. We measure it with rope or wood stick and there was big chance of mistakes.

2. We measure distance with hour hand or foot and different people size was different and there is chance of mistake in it

Today, we have made different tools to measure distance

1. Tailor and clothes merchant uses inchitape to measure distance of clothes. 

2. Vehicle measure distance with speedometer

3. Carpenter and builder has also steel measuring tap in which both cm, meter and inch and feet has mentioned.

4. Student uses plastic foota to measure upto 1 or 2 feet on notebook.

2. Meter

1 meter = 100 Centimetre

3. Kilometre

1 km = 1000 m

4. Inch

1 Span = 9 inch

6. Feet

1 feet = 12 inches
