My Story of Teaching in Govt. Elementary school as Education Volunteer

 

Today, 16 years ago, I taught Maths and English 7 months and 10 days in Govt. Elementary school Hashampur Village Rajpura as Education volunteer. First of All, I am thankful to My Friend Vikram who helped me for getting this job. I am also thankful to Roshan Lal Joshi Ji who gave me opportunity to serve as teacher. I also heartly thankful to all its team and Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan Team for support me to work. Now, I am sharing my story

1. My Friend Vikram Gave Me Big Support for Finding This Teacher Job

It is the time of Sept. 2005 and I was just free from SOS coaching classes. I told my friend Vikram, I need teacher job. Vikram knows my personal condition better and he helped me to find the job. He told me that there is a Vacancy as education volunteer in Village hashampur. Go and achieve it and you will get Rs. 2500 per month. I was happy and on 15th sept 2015, I went and gave reference of my friend who is also govt. teacher

2. Meet with Roshan Lal Joshi Ji

He is very nice personality. He asked, Did you came 12 kms from Rajpura in this village for teaching daily. I told yes. Even, I did not afford the motor cycle. I was only cycle and I have to ride it and reach and return to my home. Headmaster of school was happy and he told me, go and make the Ashtam paper and apply formally for this job and then I will join. Same day, I joined and happy to teach.

3. Teacher Supported Me Give Food Afternoon whole my teaching Time

I went early morning and I was unable to carry my afternoon lunch. There were two teachers (Baljinder Kaur Ji and Nisha Mittal ji ) who supported me to give the free food. Every day, they bring for me and give me. I can not forget their kindness which both teachers had done for whole 7 months and 10 days. I am heartily thankful for their kindness. 

4. Started Coaching Classes

One of teacher recommend me to take tuition classes of 10th class, 11th class and BA there because there are no teacher. So, she gave me her home for taking tuition classes and manage free big glass milk and free space and extra earning from this. I am really thankful for her kindness. 

5. Learning Opportunity

I learned more deeply 6,7,8 Math and English, because I have to teach to my about 150 kids. Really, teaching is double learning. I was happy, I learned and earned. 

6. Teaching Training

I got teaching training in Govt. School Rajpura and attended the class of great teachers. 

7. Training from Headmaster

I learned so many things from Headmaster. He taught new things and made me happy. 

8. Learned Discipline Comes with Hard-work

Every day, I traveled 24 kms for teaching these village students. I did hard work and never miss a single class. I attended all the period. I love teaching and this made my discipline. 

I recommend new teachers. Do hard work. Love to teach and same discipline help you to get success in the life.
